"From eternity to eternity I am God." Isaiah 43:13
In this piece we used the symbolism of thorns formed into an infinity. The thorn crown was originally used to mock Jesus, so we took the thing he was mocked with and bent it into a symbol of his greatness and his eternity. What they meant as an insult becomes the proof.
On the back we placed a cross with thorns around it, carrying the same idea across both sides of the shirt. It's one continuous thought, not two designs.
We chose this verse because God is power, he is forever, and he has always been here. We can't take pride in ourselves above our eternal father. Wearing this is a reminder of who is actually in charge, and that the mockery didn't win.
